
Serendia Sues Cartessa and SHEnB over Patent Infringement Related to Radio Frequency Microneedling Devices

Serendia LLC has filed patent infringement lawsuits against Cartessa Aesthetics, LLC with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and Sung Hwan E&C Co., Ltd (“SHEnB”) with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. The plaintiff claimed that both defendants produce, import, and sell infringing products including Vivace and Virtue RF (radio frequency microneedling devices for treatment of dermatological issues) and services throughout the U.S. The lawsuits demand a monetary compensation to be paid by the accused for each infringement of the patents in the past. It also seeks an injunction to stop the sale of the infringing products.
