Apple Fails to Reverse USD 300 Million Patent Verdict against it

Apple, Inc. could not reverse the USD 300 million patent infringement verdicts against it determined by federal jury’s trial. The company was found guilty of infringing on Optis Wireless Technology LLC‘s standard-essential 4G wireless patents. The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas rejected several arguments challenging the methodology used by Optis’ damages expert.
