Sony Buys Chip Patents from Intel

Sony Corporation has acquired hundreds of chip patents from Intel Corporation to boost their image sensor business. It is known that Sony does not enter patent deals very often but this one follows an earlier deal with International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) relating to semi-conductors.
