Samsung Breached Patent License Agreement with Netlist, Rules Court

The judge at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California stated that Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.  has breached patent license agreement with Netlist Inc. over modular memory technology. Following this Netlist terminated the deal; however, the jury will decide any damages. The judge observed that Samsung did not complete its obligation to supply the products and also did not pay the engineering fees of USD 8 million, favouring Netlist.
