Manthorpe Building Products Ltd. has filed a lawsuit against Alumasc Building Products Ltd. over a sealing device patent. Manthorpe designs, manufactures, and supplies products used in the building sector. These products comprise the face-fix radiator pipe guide and seal. The patented technology is related to sealing devices to prevent loss of warmth from radiators. The plaintiff has alleged that the defendant has copied their product and infringed on one of its patents.

Vortex Acquires CMS Assets and IP from OSSCAD

Vortex Companies LLC has acquired OSSCAD GmbH & Co. KG’s IP and assets of its Curing Monitoring System (CMS) or the proprietary cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) sensor technology. Vortex has also announced the launch of a company Vortex Technology Group LLC to support the acquisition.
