The Supreme Court of the U.S. (SCOTUS) is seeking U.S. Government’s opinion in Amazon.com, Inc. patent infringement lawsuit related to web services. SCOTUS has said that the U.S. Solicitor General (S.G.) can file its view before the court anytime as there is no provided deadline. The plaintiff PersonalWeb Technologies, LLC has appealed to SCOTUS to review the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) ruling that blocked filing of patent infringement suit against 80 Amazon Web Services, Inc. users.
