
Nevro Files Another Patent Infringement Lawsuit against Boston Scientific

Nevro Corp. has filed a fresh lawsuit against Boston Scientific Corp. accusing it of patent infringement. The lawsuit filed with the US District Court for the District of Delaware asserts infringement of four of the plaintiff’s patents. The new suit mirrors Nevro’s previous allegations that Boston copied its technology relating to chronic pain treatment using spinal cord stimulation without causing paresthesia.

MindMed to Acquire HealthMode’s IP and Clinical Trial Platforms

PTAB Revises Rembrandt Patent Claims Validity Ruling

The Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) revised an earlier ruling by invalidating five patent claims in a patent belonging to Rembrandt Diagnostics LP. The drug testing patent claims were axed after a remand order by the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) on appeal by Alere Inc.

CAFC Rules in Favour of Eidolon Affirming PTAB’s Patent Validity Decision

The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) has affirmed a patent validity ruling by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) in favour of Eidolon Optical LLC. A patent relating to an eye examination device belonging to Eidolon was challenged by Haag-Streit Holding with the filing of an inter partes review asserting invalidity of the patent on the basis of prior art.
