Pfizer’s Hospira Sued by Eagle and Teva over Cancer Drug Bendeka

Eagle Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd. have filed patent infringement litigation against Hospira, a subsidiary of Pfizer, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Eagle and Teva have accused Hospira’s branded version of Bendeka of infringing a cancer drug patent owned by Eagle and licensed to Teva. The plaintiffs are seeking court’s order to block Hospira’s products till patent expires and cash compensation if the product is produced before.
