A Judge Recommends Ban on Imports to Stop Infringement of Canon’s Patent

An administrative judge has proposed a ban on import to put an end to patent infringement of Canon Inc.’s toner supply. Previously, the judge had also warned a number of manufacturers and sellers for patent infringement. The International Trade Commission (ITC) had informed the public that as per judge findings a host of U. S. and foreign companies had violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
