Maxeon Solar Accuses Canadian Solar of Patent Infringement

Maxeon Solar Technologies, Ltd., a spinoff of SunPower Corporation has alleged patent infringement by Canadian Solar Japan K. K. Plaintiff claims infringement of patent for its shingled solar modules and a lawsuit has been filed with the Tokyo District Court. Maxeon claims that the patent in question is its Japan patent, which has been infringed upon by Canadian Solar’s infringing products.
