Highest Number of AI Patent Applications and Ownership by Baidu in China

As per a research study by units affiliated with Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Baidu Inc. is leading in numbers of patent applications and ownership relating to Artificial Intelligence (AI) in China. While Baidu already owns 2,682 AI related patents, it has applied for 9,364 more.
