Uber Taken to Court Over Alleged Patent Infringement

Uber Technologies Inc. has been accused of patent infringement with a lawsuit filed at the US District Court for the Western District of Texas by Bluestone Ventures Inc. The plaintiff has alleged infringement of two of their patents relating to location sharing technology through mobile devices. Bluestone is seeking a declaratory judgment, damages, and an award of costs and fees.
