Apple Seeks SCOTUS’ Intervention in PTAB’s Discretionary Denial of Patent Reviews

Apple Inc. has approached the Supreme Court of the US (SCOTUS) to allow the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) to have authority over the NHK-Fintiv policy of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). As per the NHK-Fintiv policy, the board uses its discretion to reject reviews of patents challenge in front of the tribunal.
