EPO Conducts Online Qualifying Examination

The European Patent Office (EPO) held its qualifying examination online for the first time in history in the first week of March. Thousands of candidates were able to give the exam from a location of their choice virtually in a secured environment. The examination process involving five exams was adequately supervised with the help of online invigilators and hundreds of people involved in the preparation process. The e-EQE helped in continuing training and qualification of patent professionals in Europe without a glitch.
