Fujifilm Cellular and Lonza Enter into Cell Therapy Agreement

Fujifilm Cellular Dynamics and Lonza Walkersville, Inc. have announced that they have entered into a partnership. The agreement enables drug makers to leverage expertise and technologies of both companies for the production of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) through licensing agreements. As per the terms of the agreement, Fujifilm grants Lonza a non-exclusive right to use their patents relating to iPSC production, including episomal vectors and reprogramming factors for both clinical development and differentiation of iPSC lines for cell therapies.
