Honeywell Sues Zebra Technologies for Patent Infringement, Seeks Import Block

Honeywell International, Inc. along with Metrologic Instruments, Inc. and Hand Held Products, Inc. has filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington over portable scanners used in businesses, warehouses, retail stores, etc. Honeywell has sued Zebra Technologies Corporation for infringing a total of five of its technology patents related to Honeywell’s Dolphin series of scanners and is seeking an import block on Zebra’s barcode scanners.
