JPO and IP Offices of ASEAN Member States Hold First Patent Experts Meeting

A meeting between Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the member states of the Association of the South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) was held via video conferencing. This was the first Japan-ASEAN Patent Experts meeting and the main agenda of the meet was to discuss AI-related inventions along with case examples from JPO. The members also discussed about the challenges of translation in patent applications faced by the offices.
