Medtronic Patents Survive Bid for Invalidation by Axonics at PTAB

The Patent Trial and Appeals Board (PTAB) has upheld three of Medtronic plc’s sacral neuromodulation device patents which were challenged by Axonics Inc. The patent board is yet to review three more of Medtronic’s patents following which the company will request the US District Court for the Central District of California to resume a stayed patent infringement case against Axonics.
