Patent Infringement Lawsuit between AstraZeneca and Macleods Settled

A patent infringement lawsuit that was brought by AstraZeneca Plc against Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has been settled by both parties. Macleods has been blocked from manufacturing of copies of AstraZeneca’s blood thinning drug Brilinta until the expiry of the patent or unless they are authorized by the patent owners. The settlement has been filed with the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
