PTAB Sides with Parus in Patent Challenge Brought by Apple

The Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) sided with Parus Holdings, Inc. has it rejected patent invalidity arguments by Apple Inc. against patents belonging to Parus. The board refused to accept that the voice-user interface technology patents were unpatentable as asserted by Apple. Interestingly, Apple and others are fighting patent infringement charges in various courts involving the challenged patents.
