SCOTUS Seeks SG’s Advice in American Axle Patent Case

The Supreme Court of the US (SCOTUS) has approached the Solicitor General of the US to file a brief in response to a petition by American Axle & Manufacturing Inc. which appeals against a split ruling by the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC). As per the ruling of the CAFC, a driveshaft patent belonging to American Axle was deemed invalid claiming a natural law.
