Infinity Computer Goes to the SCOTUS against CAFC’s Affirmation of Lower Court Order

Infinity Computer Products Inc. has appealed against the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) to the Supreme Court of the US (SCOTUS). The appeal is against an affirmation by the CAFC of a lower court’s ruling in which four of Infinity’s fax machine patents were invalidated. The appellant states that the affirmation violates the SCOTUS’ Nautilus ruling.
Ricoh Triumphs Over MASA in Patent Dispute Over Printer Technology

Ricoh USA Inc. has been let off by the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in a patent infringement lawsuit brought by Midwest Athletics and Sports Alliance LLC (MASA). The plaintiff had accused Ricoh of infringing five of their printer technology patents. However, the court cited lack of evidence as the basis of its ruling.

Maxell Holdings, Ltd. has accused Vizio Inc. of patent infringement and filed a lawsuit in the same regard at the US District Court for the Central District of California. The plaintiff asserts infringement of several of their patents with Vizio’s smart TVs. Maxell also asserts that the defendant was aware of the infringement since 2018.

The highest number of patents that Samsung holds are US patents followed by Korea and Europe in the second and third positions, respectively. Leading Camera Manufacturers Sign Patent License Deal with Clear Imaging Research

Clear Imaging Research, LLC has announced that it has signed patent license deals with five of the world’s leading camera manufacturing firms. The license offers a global, non-exclusive rights to Clear Imaging’s patented inventions in digital cameras as well as other imaging devices.
Zaxcom has entered into a patent licensing agreement with Deity Microphones for the BP-TRX units. As per the terms of the agreement, Deity will have access to five of Zaxcom’s patents for the units that enable audio transmission and recording at the same time.
