Lacerta Wins in the Patent Infringement Suit against Inline Plastics

The U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts cleared Lacerta Group, Inc. of patent infringement charges against Inline Plastics Corp. Lacerta Group had been accused of infringing five patents related to one-piece, reclosable tamper-resistant” plastic containers. The jury also found other claims in the patents to be invalid.

Delaware Court Clears Alpha and Gumout of Patent Infringement, Cancels Trial

The U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware has cancelled an infringement trial related to a fuel additive bottle patent involving Alpha Consolidated Holdings Inc. and Gumout. The court cancelled the trial asserting that Alpha did not infringed any patent.

Riverstone All Set to Purchase International-Matex Tank

Riverstone Holdings LLC has announced that it will be purchasing International-Matex Tank Terminals (IMTT), a subsidiary of Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation. The deal will cost Riverstone about $2.7 billion in cash along with assumed debt.
