TracFone Urges Florida Court to Clear It of Patent Infringement Charges

Following a transfer of the patent infringement case against them, TracFone Wireless Inc. has urged the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida to drop the infringement charges against them. The defendant told the court that the case pleadings by Precis Group asserting infringement of four of their patents for secured prepayment for mobiles are faulty under the case law of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC).
