TCS Collaborates with AIS over IoT Solutions Based on 5G

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has started a partnership with a Thai telecom operator Advanced Info Service (AIS). Based on 5G smart network technology it aims to provide internet of things (IoT) solutions to manufacturers in the country. Mainly the partnership collaborates TCS’ portfolio of intellectual property and expertise in IT consulting and AIS’ telecommunications services in Thailand. The plan is to sell solutions to Thai enterprises directed at accelerating their growth and transformation using Tata’s 5G-enabled IoT offerings.
Adial Pharmaceuticals and University of Virginia Enter into a Research Collaboration

Purnovate, an entirely owned subsidiary of Adial Pharmaceuticals, Inc has collaborated for research with University of Virginia School of Medicine. The research will include the development of new formulations of Adial’s proprietary Adenosine compounds. As per the agreement, Purnovte will supply the compounds and the research team of Dr. Roeser (from University of Virginia School of Medicine) will be in charge of the evaluation of these compounds. The pre-clinical research activities will be funded by The University of Virginia. The developed intellectual property will be owned by both parties.
Uber and Cruise Announce the Launch of an Auto IP Group

UberTechnologies, Inc. and Cruise have formed an alliance named Auto Transportation Alliance to enable executives from companies engaged in vehicle manufacturing, ride-sharing, self-driving technology, rail, trucking, freight, and aerospace to work in partnership and communicate on various IP challenges.
Toshiba Transfers SunLike’s Business and Patent Rights to Seoul Semiconductor

Seoul Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has announced the completion of a transfer of business and patent rights from Toshiba Materials Co., Ltd., for the technology that they jointly developed. Seoul Semiconductor now holds the rights to SunLike and the transfer of the intellectual property is made for agility and efficiency in business operations.

Neuropathix, Inc. has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, Dermique Incorporated for its over-the-counter (OTC) cosmeceutical intellectual property. The new subsidiary will hold, manage, commercialize, and market all the intellectual property assets relating to the OTC cosmeceutical ingredients. The IP given to Dermique includes patent, trademarks, know-how and other assets.
