Lyft’s Motion for Dismissal of Patent Case Declined on Recommendation by Magistrate

A motion for the dismissal of a patent infringement case against Lyft Inc. has been declined by the US District Court for the District of Delaware. On recommendation by the court’s magistrate, the petition has been dismissed as it was found that the vehicle identification patent asserted by the plaintiff Rideshare Displays Inc. did not seem abstract as argued by Lyft.
