Solar Spinners Patent Case Ends in $540,000 Damages for Defendants

In a patent infringement lawsuit filed by Red Carpet Studios, the plaintiff has been able to secure a win and has been awarded nearly $540,000 in damages. The patent infringement suit against Walgreen Co., CVS Pharmacy Inc. and Midwest Trading Group Inc. ended up with the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio charging the defendants with infringement of a design patent for solar spinning light and ordering them to pay damages to the plaintiff.
